Update:

I should of done all of this before the RR day but hey, better late that never. After last weekends fun my car now breathes better due to this:

It tooks ages to clean due to the ammount of black dirt and dust in there... And it even gives out a cleaner roar now which is nice... :devil:

And after hunting for a backbox, this came on Tuesday as a little birthday present:

Bargainous price, infact it cost me less than 1/3rd of what Peugeot wanted the robbing barstards!! :chill:

I've also just won a gti-6 wing mirror with the electrics/heater/thermo that's in red, so im going to switch the nile blue cap over to that one and hopefully i've sorted out the broken wing mirror for under 8 quids.

An update for those that care about my French POS :insanity:

Interior update! Out with the mustang yellow interior, that was nasty along with sweaty bollock leather.

And in with the new!. This interior is actually 5 years older than the above, and has a few cuts and holes in the drivers seat (other seats are in great condition) but they are lighter due to no side airbags, suit the car as they are blue and hug you like bucket seats which help an awful lot! :chill:

Matt - I've fell back in love with this car. (though I'm unsure if I ever did fall in love with it until now) So I'm hopefully keeping it for a while longer.

Currently awaiting my Green panel filter to arrive so I can sell the K&N heatsoak shite, and my track rod ends are still sitting next to me. Just awaiting my new droplinks, wishbone bushes and then getting them all slapped on and tracked, along with a full set of Pilot Exalto PE2's money pending.

MOT next month! :hsugh:

TBH, it is always emmisions with MOT's, though last years it sailed through fine.... But also I've not enquired about my flashing airbag light due to no side airbags anymore, nail in my rear tyre (but new set will cure that) and brake discs and pads.. But I think they are fine and I'm worrying for nothing. That's all I can think of for now.

I'm getting a set of Brembo discs from GSF and some mintex 1144's or Ferodo ds2500's in a month or two (depending on what the MOT says) and I think my dampers may be treated to some uprated action, but A. I can't afford the Bilstein B6's that I want and B. I've not decided if my driving style warrents stiffer dampers or not...

You'll need to sort the Airbag light unless your MOT place is friendly, i took the bulb out of the Dials to stop mine flashing after i took the airbag out! :)

That's also a fail mattyboy if the MOT tester is eagle eye'd, as the light should come on then off on ignition of the engine.

May aswell try your luck though as I'd reckon 9/10times you'd get away with it.

I'll sort out a way for the wires to act as a full circuit or something to trick the airbag system or something then IF i can.

TBH I'd rather whack the two old front seats back in for the MOT as it's a 15 minute job :lol:
