Well, fusion fabrication, can get a 2.5" I think for £40. I think, size might be diff. So I wouldnt want to pay any more than that.

wats thts for the front or rear???? if i get rears made aswell they prob be ones tht bolt to top of turret be alot better!

well the only front braces i can find for the si are about twice as much for any other car. Im looking for one in the region of 50-75 but as always the cheaper the better lol.

erm been a little while really since last posts nd pics but for now jst a small update on the bodywork !

erm all locks, mirrors, sills, bodykit, doors, bootlid, have now been sprayed ! also gettin new hinges on doors as he removed doors and as a plonka bent most of pins !

jst the rollin shell to be painted nd the bonnet nd the si is then ready to be put back together then i can start to drive my LOUD beast again nd then i bolt tht sound system back in as my rover 214 that im drivin now is absolutely s****e its so slow lol ! atleast i managed to bolt in stereo lol so boring it is .

well at last i managed to get a few pics with my camera fone

the car isnt totally finished!

few spots need finishing ! frm bummper is gettin resprayed due to few dodgy spots! nd wing! but apart frm that its looking niiiiicccceeee!!

also gt to adjust rear pop out windows too!
and fit the rs kit ! which havent gt round to doin !







the final colour was lotus black with ruby red pearl ! it looks absolutely stunning in the sunshine! even gt rainbow sparkle to it ! so hope its sunny at FITP08

jst finishing all the other parts of now ! hopefully gonna get car fully polybushed once i find time nd money lol !

it wasnt exactly the colour i was looking for really lol but the ruby red made the paint slip to a purpley aubergine colour again!

but it does look like different colour in different lights!

its hard to get the true colour into a picture lol camera doesnt pick it up ! its subtle

i cant wait to get xr kit on tooo its jst finding the time!!
and as for mk4 rear wiper im waiting for one to come up !!

I thought mine was shiney but that looks amazing really good job there.

Also looks similar to original Aubergine!!

well it has been quite a while since last update been generally really busy with life gf nd work and all other commitments so i havent had chance to get on here much

but fiesta hasnt been forgotten and still goin strong

car came out bodyshop not completed so still gt bits to be done but im in no hurry atm ! tbh im nt 100% happy wit some of paint work done but tht was becos sprayer tht did my car is crap but hes left my work nw so i may even have the car sanded down nd quickly blasted ova again as all prep work is done to body lol but thats nt happening jst yet


i've been busy ordering aloof new parts for her now will get pics up when i get chance but heres list


new caps
new seals,
new bolts for opening rear quarters


ive got full powerflex polybush kit

consisting of most bushes
wishbones
roll bars
rear beam

and as i kno the beam bolts are little rusty i have ordered all new bolts to replace em wit! didnt come to that much really

also got lights to be wired up to go into the cossie bumper but nt sure wat im gonna use for yet ! i may wire in some strobes or something for bit of night fun lol heheheh also got mesh to go on bumper aswell and as ive gt the red theme goin on under bay nd on drums ect i may do mesh dark red as i think it look sweet against the flip black lol

also this is for future turbo project lol

new tensioner and new idler pulley ( i gt both for free frm fords as when i ordered em computers had been hacked into and they didnt invoice us for em lol )

just gotta get my hands on a cheap 2litre to fully rebuild this time im doing it right wit all gaskets nd seals including thos crank seals as my 2litre leaking frm them nw! lol also new parts everyhwere i can including pumps ect .



even tho ive got all this i almost sold car other day as i had two offers on her
one for £1k nd other £1.2k reason i almost took was becos the central locking still not working and that is really peee'in me off ! so i was gonna get cheap saxo or golf lol

but ive decided im gonna be keeping her nd finishin her of

one piece that has happened all of sudden was hole where the identity tag is in the drivers fllor pan half tag rusted nd dropped off so im gonna get plate welded ova that soonish !


so hope makes interesting read i will hopefully find engine soon if anyone knos of any1 or anywhere wit cheap 2litre i'll have it ! also after LSD GEARBOX

future turbo project sounds good for the si! so glad u didn't get rid of it! what r u gona do about the vin numbers? in the floor pan u just gona weld a plate over it or gona get the numbers re done as well?

erm that chassis number in floor pan isnt tht necessary as the car already has two others!!

but fords dnt redo em u have to take car through VIC TO get all work done even then nt sure how much it gonna cost so im jst leaving wat left there nd welding plate ova

Strobe lights Garry? lol Wonder where you got that idea from Do it! They look so much better in the night, some people love them, turned them on in a car park the other night, about 3 cars came over and wanted to see them lol. I have taken mine out now tho, might put them back in, not sure. Just dont get caught by the police
