which brakes should i use cosworth 4x4 front or rear calipers or would using mondeo brakes be good enough

TBH not even that, if you get some good pads, mintex 1144's and some good disc's, bled up correctly, standard would be fine! :)

But most go for Cosworths! :)

I couldnt be arsed getting my normal ones uprated, so for the cost of £20 at the scrappers I have some slightly larger mondeo 2.0ltr brakes that had new disks and pads, made a hell of a difference. But all I am going to do next is get better pads and disks for them when they have had it :)

Use Mk5/6 RS2000 front calpiers, you can then buy uprated pads and discs ( 260mm) quite easily as they are common to the Escort RST aswell

Put a set of braided lines on and a good brake fluid and the brakes will be mega
