Well, i screwed up when treating the rust on the front panel so i've had to go back to it for the work to be done properly. Bit of an update with some boring pictures of the work i did before fitp, and with another mod being added on the day :D anyways, here goes:

as said, the work i did on my front panel was sh*te :lol: so to my mates for a proper job to be done (nice 1 for the help paul):

grinding all the rust out, with use of angle grinder/metal brushes/rotary sander and anything else destructive :lol: :

Then bridged the holes with aluminium mesh and fibreglass:

Off to my grans the next day for filling and smoothing:

Then sprayed with two coats of waxoil, a few coats of zinc primer, then black primer to finish it off:

Front panel finished, now time to get the arches sorted for fitp! this is how the passenger side looked before work commenced (supprisingly free of bird shit for once! :lol: ) :

I was pretty happy with the work done, still got a hell of a lot of smoothing to do on the arches, which im sure some of you picked up on, on Sunday. But on the day, Jay brought his BB bonnet, which we fitted (with much adjusting it still doesnt sit right) and looks a bit like this:

Anyways, hope you like whats happening, im starting to get a bit pissed off with the arches, but will conquer them soon! :devil:
