involved in a crash wasnt my fault usualy story does anyone else find that quinn take the piss with your claims thay have given me a curtosy car witch i have done over 1000 miles in the last week and there taking there time to take my car away its been two weeks and they have not even collected it yet altho they didnt hesitate to give me a brand new corsa as a curtosy car advise for anyone going to buy one there shit the damage is not to bad but would imagine it to outweight the cars value front n/s wheel has buckled strut housing turret bent warped disk burst tyre bent wishbones not sure if they have bent at the mounts but has any one else found quinn take there time and how long do you think its going to take cuzz i wana get a mk1 or si if any one sellin

as for quinn i have never dealt with them so cant comment, but 2 weeks does sound like a long time to come collect a car!

as for Si's/mk1's that are for sale, have a look thro the for sale forum, ebay, auto trader 8-)

Are Quinn direct your insurance or the other party?

i'm claiming through allianz insurance on my car and feel like they really have taken the piss. The crash incident was on the 23rd. Currently i have no courtesy car, and they don't seem to be listening when i tell them i am KEEPING the wreck.

Also been getting insults as valuations - hence i'm claiming salvage.

Quinn Direct r possibly the most useless insurance company ever...

im with them, i got hit in the driver side wing by a crazy women in a polo whilst i was doing a 3 point turn...

its been 6 months since the accident and my claim still hasnt been settled... the women is maintaining i was o blame and although every bit of evidence points to her being responsible thy havnt managed to resolve who is to blame yet so it looks as tho im goin to be waiting alot longer before it gets payed out for... thy never did collect my clio to see if it was a write off or a repair job so i dnt think thy even know how much compensation to pay me, thy sent a mechanic out once who PHONED ME! to ask wht i thought was wrong wiv it... i told him both wishbones were shot, driver side hub, wheel, wing and front bumper all needed replacing also and he just agreed with me and bid me good day lol

thy got a shock the other day tho... i told thm i was no longer claiming for dmg's and tht i was now claiming for full compensation for the car as they have taken tht long tht the car has been taken away by the council and crushed and tht it couldnt be helped as i didnt have the means or the finances to have the car moved myself... it took a bit of arguing and banter but eventually thy saw i was in no mood to settle and assured me they would do their utmost to get my money for me... i wont hold my breath

but being my cheapest quote by almost £350! i cant afford to go to another insurance company lol

you are lucky i have a fiat punto on a 2000 plate somone crashed into me over a year and half ago and its still going through, my old insurance compnay say they lost the paper work but mate they do take the piss!i had to start all over again i lost out on £2500 quid but now i got my own solicitor on it to get the insurance company to get a move on!i just hope they value the car from the time of the crash!as they worth pennies now!
