what, a french car?

Na mate, my cousin had fords since i was young i was brought up around them hence why i like them and am on this website.

If you don't like fords why comment??

I made the mistake of a french car once and well i won't be doing that again

Also, i don't want to be a sheep and go jap like most people are, its boring round ere going to a cruise and seeing civics as far as the eye can see

h22a dohc outa jdm spec import prelude

i'm not sure of the engine code :red:

all i know is that its got 220ish bhp as its an import engine (he got the complete car written off for ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£300 took the ECU loom and engine and broke it git!)

and he's putting:

Cams (unsure of make)
tanube system
hks mushroom induction kit
custom driveshafts to match gearbox
custom bonnet
traction bar
bigger brakes obviously
Bodywork sorted for ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£400 (and he needs alot its been sat a year waiting for bits!)
magazine feature as no1 in the uk has attempted this in a ef civic
(engine mounts and gearbox adapter were ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£660 custom made in U.S.A)

Existing Mods:
It has coilovers and he has 15" rotas and pirellli P6000s to help traction lol
Stripped out
Front and Rear Strut Braces
Tinted Windows
Rear Wiper and aerial smoothed in
New Rear Panel
Touch Screen Headunit lol

Sounds like a H22a4 to me.

I had a H22b2, which was the SOHC. Reved so 'kin quick under heavy load and made an awesome induction noise with my carbon kit 8-)

i'm not sure lol i'll get him to put some pics up start a project thread in members lol

ITs a massive project, no-one in the uk has attempted it before

(with good reason, he has had to modify the engine bay and chassis leg to make it fit!)

should be good when its done though, guestimates are on 12-13 second quarter miles with planned gear ratios and if he can get away cleanly lol

I wish id kept my 2.2 wreck, and plonked it in my Civic estate.

Same mounts mean it would have droped straight in

Now a cube

Other than rad and battery, engine and all aux were untouched, despite doing over 40mph-0 in the length of a Laguna's bonnet :shock:

The thing is that my mates are going to have faster cars now lol

Well the fiesta si should be a bit slower then my escort lol

but this civic is going to be bloody quick lol

I've bin waiting 13 months so far, want it done and go for a test drive!

The 0-60 of this engine in the prelude before it was written of was 7 dead.

The prelude is also a much heavier car then the civic i think my mate with the mods is expecting mid 5s!
