hi guys

so... test about to be booked, and is all good

but having massive problems with nerves. i can do a 2 hour lesson no probs, all manouveres fine(spelling) and finding it all ok. no problem. BUT as soon as mr driving man mentions test i clam up. i dunno what it is, probs fear of the unknown if you like, but really starting to dread it. any advice? techniches(spelling) that you know of to calm down? im just worried that due to nerves i might become a wreck and turn it into a big fat FAIL. could be worse i suppose bt any advice welcomed please.

Take some rescue remedy:

I used it on my test and got me through it. Also used it on exams and job interviews too.

And to quote my driving instructor 'On your test, just drive like a chauffeur and you'll be fine'

the test people can normal tell if your nervous, and will chat to you.

when i did mine, after like 5 mins i messed up and fort well thats it iv fauled, so i carmed down and well didnt car anymore and well i passed, im not saying mess up at the begining tho. just look at it this way. if you dont pass then, you just hav to do it again, thats it not like u can never try again!!!!

sounds a bit wierd but wen i took my bike and car test i made my self think that i had failed at the start of the test, this meant i wernt nevous and i just did it all without thinking to much about it and i passed my bike with 2 minors and car with 5 minors with 8 lessons

im not saying it will work for you but thats wot my bike instructor said to me and it worked

i was a bit nervous when i done mine many moons ago and was made even more nervous by the fact that i had 2 people in the car.
i had the tester and then a guy who was testing him

good luck with yer test and try not to get to worked up about it on the day
