i was just wondering if anybody has changed from a modified car to a standard one on the same policy? If so how did it affect your premium? I know flux are crap compared to other companies for standard cars but i dont want to start building this years no claims up again! Ive got 5 months left on the policy and 2 more installments of £130 to pay for it. Is it likely that i'll have to still pay this or could they drop the premium? Im talking about going from a 2.0 si all mods declared to a 1.1 popular or similar!

If the cost goes down, they just lower your monthly payments! Thats what they did when i went from the Si to the 106 :)

(you don't have to own one.......just have an interest :look:. If push comes to shove join for £7.50, and reap even cheaper insurance + other niceties :))



Ps. Surely a club of this size would have some weight when it comes to negociating deals with certain companies (be that for insurance or not....)

Ive been with Flux for the past 4 years and never had a problem with them,They have always beaten everyones quotes and given the best deals aka like for like on all mods.

My modified van is insured for £325 which is the bear minimum for a modified vehicle apparently.

Quotes on a modded xr2i came out to £325 as well :)
