and yea go for it, the "cruises" in this area suck lol they are all crap, thats why me and my mates go to the multi storey (Warmer) but it would be better with more people.

My cousin lives in kent and the "cruises" are better (albeit some of the cars are terribly done up lol) and its a laugh.

We pop up to southend when its warmer (i use the term pop up loosely its an 184 mile round trip! )

But due to an incident in the xr3i cabby i am going to keep a low profile next time.........

Yeah, i'm getting there.

By mid Feb it will have:

1: Light Smoke Side Repeaters
2: Cambelt Change
3: Morette Headlights with foglights converted to indicators
4: Blue Cambelt Cover

Crap day. Pics will follow


1: Some Merc had parked in my space as well as his in the multi storey and while concentrating on that, didn't realise how close the pillar was behind me and scratched the bumper on the rear left corner

2: Went to my mate at Kwik Fit and the baffles in my centre and rear box have collapsed and there's a split in the baffle hence my car running like shit

3: Indicators turned up at 8am, but i was asleep so got to wait to monday to collect them

Still, Cambelt and Cambelt Cover change tomorrow, should put pics of that up

Cambelt changed today

but alternator belt needed changing

then the tensioner for it needs changing but no one stocks it

clutch is buggered so cant drive it

But dad should be buying me a clutch and my mate is fitting it next saturday, will try and change the tensioner then to

Then it will be new exhaust and then i can concentrate on the bodywork

I think the engine bay is starting to look a bit better, could do with cleaning the rocker cover up!

The EGR Block was already on the car, only realised today when we had to unbolt the EGR from the top of the rocker cover. (if i want to remove it i need a new inlet and exhaust manifold so no thanks!)

Once the next three things are done

1: Clutch
2: Alternator Belt Tensioner
3: Exhaust

I should be ok! and people told me zetecs are easy to live with

I have a clutch! lol its weird having a proper clutch as i am used to it biting at the top of the pedal.

Didnt get a pic before my mate lobbed it but the old clutch had worn through and was wearing the rivets away!

Just got to bed the clutch in, so heres a while of changing gear slowly and not launching it of the lights or anything!

Now its just:

PCV (£22 mate at ford)
Alternator Belt Tensioner (£21 ordered in from factors)
Exhaust (Standard £100 middle and rear trade price of kwik fit mate)
2 Front Tyres (£64 195/45/15 same place as exhaust and person!)
Bodywork in above post

getting there mate, i've got to have my new clutch fitted soon
