Had some free time last night, so thought id give the charger a clean!

Looks slightly better, still needs more work yet.

Also Fuel pump arrived a while back and i should be collecting a New head thats had some work done on it just after xmas!

Not sure now if it will be ready for the "Donny show @ Donnington" next year, as i need to be saving alot more money for my holiday and other non car bits, so will aim for summer!

Walla, One GMC Motorsport ported and polished head, with uprated valve springs! For a bargin price ill have you know!



Inlet port's, well two off! Perfect size for the S1 inlet!

Piper Pulley, another bargin!





That is actually my top end finished now, just need to slap the Newman Cam in, fit the S1 inlet!

They came to about £180 with the fitting kit!
(£40 each and £20 for the fitting kit)

and im using 195/45/15's!

Its moving along but not at the pace i want it to!

Think i've found a Rad that i can use off a Honda civic, £80 Alli Rad will just need some coolant hose adaption, as i refuse to buy the GMC one for £300+VAT!

Well seems as it passed its MOT yesterday and i had some new products that i needed to test, i thought id give her a clean!

Didn't do any before's as i couldn't be arsed too!

Wheels off job as well!



After (please note i haven't de-swirled her yet, thats next month)

I've also fitted some new Door cards, Carbon Fibre, Real stuff not the Ghey stuff people get!

The Products i used











Breakdown of what i did!

Wash

Hosed down
Wheels covered with Poorboys Spray and Rinse Wheel Cleaner
pre-washed with Poorboys Bug squash @ 1:1 with water
2 bucket method with Poorboys Super slick and suds using Euro W Micro Fibre Wash Mitt on heavy soiled areas (sills front bumper etc) and Euro W Lambs Wool Wash Mitt on the less soiled areas
hosed down again
Dried using Poorboy's Waffle Weave Drying Towel

Clayed using Cleanyourcar.co.uk Fine PolyClay and Megs last touch as lube and wiped down with a Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel.

Then Using Dodo Juice Lime Prime and a Poorboys Micro fibre applicator i removed all the old Wax and polish, wiped down with a Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel.

I then with my Porta Cable and a Sonus DAS Green Polishing Pad polished the whole car with Megs #7 Show Car Glaze and used a Sonus DAS Blue Waxing & Finishing Pad to remove the polish.

Then By hand and a ClearKote Foam Applicator i used Poorboys EXP to seal the paintwork and polish, left for about and 45mins and buffed off with a Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel.

Then by hand (as in fingers) the car was waxed using Dodo Juice Light Fantastic Wax and buffed off with a Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel then buffed with a Poorboy's Velvet Smooth Ultimate Finishing Towel.

The Tyres where then cleaned and treated with Poorboy’s Bold and Bright Tyre Dressing.

The Exterior trim was then treated with Poorboy’s Trim Restorer.

The interior Carpet and Engine bay where De-greesed and cleaned using Poorboy’s All Purpose Cleaner 1:4 with water and the Interior Plastic where treated with Poorboy's Natural Look Dressing.

Lack of Pug-sport is soon to be sorted!

Seems odd a slagged out car gets such an attentive cleaning process, but it does look lovely for it. Nice work.

wheels off cleans are an ideal thing for fords to get all the grit off, prob wouldn't matter so much on your 106 as it doesn't rust!

I have been toying with the idea of stripping the rs1800 interior out, flocking dash and getting carbon bits

although I am still unsure as I accationally have more than one passenger!
