You can do ZT's pretty cheap if on a budget.Around £1K using donor parts from other cars.You apparently can get the 2.0 DEEP ecu remapped to run a ZT but its not the best.

Aftermarket management is always going to run best.Im gonna go all out an uprate all the internals and i dont like doing things by halfs!

Using a 2.0 Silvertop zetec

Pistons - £500 for forged low comp items

Rods - £400+

Uprated bolts etc - £200+

Turbo - Depends on spec but i bought T3 for £400 NEW

Inlet - can be done cheap but i wanted Rover Turbo inlet - £250 inc mods made to it.

Cams - Standard can be kept apparently but custom ground ones from the likes of Ian howell of Area Six are perfect if wanting to run high power.Keep the standard 2.0 exsaust cam if you want it to remain easier to drive at low revs.

Exsuast manifold - Zetecs can mount up to cvh manifolds so using RST setups makes for an easy setup.Focus RS works too and if you can get the GT25 turbo on it you will benifit from lower lag and faster spool up times with the rollerbearing turbo.

Unfortunately for me mine will take a lot longer to build as I'm a perfectionist :lol:

I dont want to have my turbo positioned behind the radiator as im worried about heatsoak, Im going to spend spend spend and get a custom manifold to position the turbo where the battery should be and relocate the battery to the boot.

You can buy recon'd T3's for around £250-£300 on ebay.

Ideally it would be great if you could get Focus RS eshaust manifold with GT25 turbo.Straight bolt on fit and the turbo is rollerbearing.Lower lag and around a 200-250bhp limit if i remember correctly.
