My gearbox/clutch just exploded :/

Im told the clutch or gearbox has fallen apart and seized... however the engine cant start so we think its the clutch, but we know the engine is good (definatly not seized).


so... going to be very expensive to get fixed.. since the engine would need to come out. *if* i could find a good replacement engine, gearbox and clutch for cheap i might try to get it back on the road. The old engine is not worth putting back with leaky piston rings and i done have time to rebuild it :(


If any ones interested, the shell is good apart from a bit of rust, bodywork has a few dents and most of the paintwork is good except one door.
The engine is good except for one piston ring, but the head is good.
If there is interest I might consider breaking it.

phil has a good engine i think

gearboxes arent that hard to get hold of either

and a clutch kit will be about £50

i have a dry 1.6 si lump with brand new water pump, but u can have the block and head as i need a few things from it i also have a gearbox which was good as well but i need fly wheel and clutch up to u tho, i hope u save your si from doom :)
