It's definately the wrong one mate!
I had the exct same thing. Bought it under reassurance it was the correct one. Fitted it, and it was indeed rubbing on the inlet manifold.
Definately, definately DEFINATELY the wrong one. You have NOT fitted it wrong, so don't let them tell you that. You have NOT modified your car in a way that will affect it being fitted. And you are NOT in any way to blame.
Here is how it *should* fit:
As you can see there is a different angle on the brace as it comes from the left strut. This allows clearance from the inlet manifold. I bet the red one you have is more level with the other side, and it has the rings either side to go over the strut? I did have pictures of the OMP one connected to mine, but no idea where they've gone.
And to be honest mate, I just sold the OMP one on. I couldn't be arsed to go back to the place that sold it me, but since that day I've steered people away from them. They're a joke. The ones I bought it off are based in Walsall, and are called Midlands Performance C*****. I won't say the full name
But there's another dig.
Let me know what they say when you bring it back to the people you bought it off...

However they did say they phoned omp who told them they had fitted the red strut brace onto a fiesta Si 16v and that it was fine. what a load of b*ll*cks. Now I am going about getting them to give me £80 so I can get the holes plug welded and painted over, which they said they will do if I put in a formal complaint in writing. SO hopefuly I will get some money sooonish to sort the holes out.
