Thanks for your lovely comments people, sorry for the for sale post, i was in abit of a state earlier over various things, and thought about selling it. But ive had second thoughts

The work...well both my brothers used to be panel beaters and over a number of years are now sprayers. One brother did all the bodywork and the other (who sprays for vauxhall) sprayed it, the spray job cost £1k, and the rest of the work was free! He also sprayed my wheels when he did the car. I know i could have probs got it cheaper somewhere else, but tbh i didnt trust any random bodyshop (heard too many horror stories!),plus my bro is a perfectionist so i knew it would be spot on

As for the rest of the stuff, i got the wheels £90 on ebay, tyres were brand new from blackcircles.com about £200, Suspension was £260 brand new from halfrauds, engine was on 59k with 12mths warrenty for £200 from findanengine.co.uk, and various parts from fords and scrap yards
I know alot is brand new, but im rather sad and pathetic and always want the best

thats quite cheap for a full spray though becks!

most places your looking at about £1200+ for a decent respray because of the labour in the prep work

yh local place to me for a BASIC respray is £850 if they do everything is £2400!

I want ur bros to do mine

Well, had my mot on thursday, and to my surprise it only failed on a problem with the steering rack, which thanks to mr. zetec-s4 was fixed in a jiffy anyways before getting to the mot station, a few speed bumps saw the demise of my zorst.....



Sooo stainless cat back was brought forward a few weeks!
