to get them off u have to take off the front bumper,



then drill out the spots welds (i f u can't see them there is probably filler over so rub the top of the wing down to find the spot welds





then use a chisel and a hammer and prise the lip up of the wing



then get a angel grinder the slice it down the front of the wing there it meets the front slam panel and at the bottom of the wing and off it comes

i don't know really as the wings aren't a stuctural part, welded would b way better tho as thats how ford done it, they must have welded them on for a reason

thats true it is not a structual part, many other cars have wings bolted on and no welds. yes welds will be safer, im bolting mine on until i can get hold of a MIG, but i cant see how it would be a MOT fail and how it is unsafe?? if done right it should be fine.

Because i would of thought that it affects how the car damages during a crash or something similar i.e. being hit from man different angles

Literally it was designed to be welded for a reason, it wont look good if you change the way it goes together from the manufacturer standard, its just how the MOT people will look at it

Some may be kind, some may just stick the boot in for it, welded is shafe
