ok, i kno this sounds stupid but ive heard about it and cant really understand what happens when its done but i like the look. is it where say if u have 195 tyres on ur car u were to put 185 tyres on the same wheel, stretching them over it, or is that completely wrong lol also does it help to avoid scrubbage?

That is effectively what stretching is...

Wide wheel, eg 225 and stick a 195 tyre on it would avoid scrubbage on a fiesta and would be stretched.

In my opinion I cant see it being very safe and they look poo on fiestas.

not to my taste, just good old normal low profiles look fine 8-) . surely they cant be safe, if you took a corner fairly fast it would put alot of strain on them and cause them to pop of the rim, wouldnt it :? from jamiecliffe1988 im on my g/f account :lol:
