the remaining door has now be primed

all skirts and arches have been primed also, didnt take pics of then all though but there all done

the boot with 1 coat of laquer



the drivers side also got a coat of laquer







the skirts and 2 of the arches got some paint, no laquer as yet







then curiosity got the better of me so i put the front bumper on so i could have a sneaky peek as to what the finished artical will look like

dont look 2 bad, im not sure if u can flatten 2k with 1500 then use 3m (or whatever its called) on it with a buffer/mop thingy to bring up a nice sheen

another sunday an other little started

made a start to changing the gaskets on the mondy lump

rocker cover removed:




the camshafts removed:



hydrolic tapits removed:







the block: looks a bit shitty and will be given a good clean














underside of the head:




got around to changing 4 valve stem oil seals before calling it a day

finished changing all the oils seal so made a start to cleaning the block and cylinder head, looks a lot better now i think















the H/gasget






its all ready for tourqing but i couldnt find my dads torque wrench


so i moved on


next up, the sump and oil pick up pipe

the si pick up pipe fitted



and obviously the sump (which i got from a 'scort zetec





the new water pump was next







alternator monuting bracket fitted





and finally i removed the egr




so now its almost done im getting even more desperate for some engine mount
