didnt want to make 2 posts so thort these were kin of in the right place, ive tried searching for a guide to get a 2 litre engine in the 1.4 si, not the 1.6. How hard is it going to be do you reckon? and has neone done it before or no neone who has?
also, my driverside sill is rusting bad, is welding going to b the solution or can i get a new one from somewhere?

If I'm right in saying, you will need a 1.6si as a donor car and as for the sill's, you can buy replacements

as jon said you'd need a 1.6 Si as a donor car, you need to use the loom and sump and pick up off the 1.6 and a few other bits like pas bracket, inlet, exhaust etc.


i think you'd need to refabricate a new mount as the 1.4 and 1.6's have different engine mounts

as for the sills, as your are rusting i would get new ones welded in or if the affected area isn't to bad get metal plates welded in
