water in boot ??

im not tooo sure where this water is coming from i noticed before that water had got into drivers side of boot and makes the carpet in there soaking wet,,,,

the cars sittin in the road tonite and i went out to check and it seems to be soggin wet and i cant see where from i dont have any rusted holes or anything ?

i think it mite be coming in around the rear light cluster ??? but how would i fix it if tht was leaking ? can you get replacement seals or wat?

your best bet is to replace the seals around the rear light which will be quite cheap but if that doesnt work i know that the fiestas do suffer from water seeping into the boot through the rear window seal. you can eiither take it out yourself and do it but its probably best to take it to your local garage have them remove the rear window and seal clean around the boot wear the seal sits with sum spirit wipe and get red of any crap in the seal and again clean with spirit wipe and that should do it mate goodluck mate hope you manage to solve the problem let us know how you get on. zetec-s4
