Few things spring to mind, firstly, is the radiator and fan working as they should? [no blockages or leaks] are the they the right size, i'd of thought they'll need to be bigger due to the turbo's immense heat, is the thermostat working? is the waterpump working and fitted correctly? have you tried removing the under bonnet insulation, it's missing on mk3s but standard on mk3.5s have you got an air lock. hope this helps, ignore any typos, i'm writing this on the pda via wifi at the garage.

get a run cool thermostat a bottle of 'water wetter' get a fiesta diesel radiator and fan and that should be enough to keep you cool. little cars like the fiestas are known to get hot at stand still because there designed to be cooled by air when your driving so unfortunatly unless you modify the cooling system thats what happens hope it all works out for ya let us know what you do and if it works or not. zetec-s4

cheers everyone,yer ill try some of the things mentioned,got a brand new frst rad and fan and thermo so i no there all working,also got a s1 turbo (not water cooled) think it mite b an air lock,ill let u no how it goes cheers
