I fear this is pinking i have where the engine has a sort of nuts and washers in the engine sound, not very loud but some may understand what i mean

where the engine is under load and you put ur foot down an u get the pinking sound, anyone any ideas of a cure?

sure you bottom end isnt on its way out? big ends?

mole your car runs very rich on idle..

what ECU are you using?

if its pinking you dont wanna be driving it that much at top end... sooner than you know it youll blow a hole through one of your pistons

is the sound comming from the top of the engine or does it get worse underneath

from up top possible
pinking
sticky valve
slightly wrong timing

from the bottom end
well bottom end lol
loose crank pully

just a fue of the things to look out for
