go for it get some old scraps to practice on first and get the weilder set up if you get a quiet weild with little crackling amps are to high or wire feed to slow if it feels juddery and not smooth amps to low or wire feed to high u need the weilder set high enough to get good penatration but not so high it blows though a bubbling weild is gas to low try and set the gas as low as possible with out the weild bubbling once you got the weilder set its a peice of cake just try weilding at different angles your soon get the hang of it and work out how best to do it the cleaner the metal the easyer/better it weilds dont chance arc eye it hurts like hell allways disconnect the battery on the car to protect the ecu if you need any help just ask ive been a weilder/fabricator for nine years
