i done a compression test on each of the foor cyclinders and there were no leaks! so do u think its just the cambelt needs re-timing? my mate said that the rotary arm may need adjusting??

There is no need to remove the head if you have full compression and as you have tested it then it is fine, just re-time the cams and all should be fine.

As said just retime it mate.

When i adjusted my belt once, i managed to make it worse, inlet cam was out a few teeth. When i started it, it run like a tractor. I must say, i did brown my underwear. Retimed it and was fine.

Just retime it and you'l be fine.

if i was u, u should listen to the manifold !!

if u say its 180degree out !! it will sounds like its sucking air in thro exhaust manifold and should be blowing thor inlet manifold !!! i kno mine was same lol !! it would turn ova nd ova !! lol by timing bar or use something tht fits into slots and turn the crank pulley around so that the line on edge of pulley is in alignment wit sump edge !!!

also try start it and let it turn ova a bit then remove fuel pump fuse and try again !! the engine should fire for few seconds !! this it due to fuel within cylinders and fact tht cylinders are in wrong positon !!
