if i was to put it up for sale id have no idea of a asking price anyway because it is a bit of one off

To be honest Jon, whatever price you put it up for, you will never get back what you want for it unfortunately

Having driven a fiesta ST, i can say they are quite nice to drive. Completely different drive to a mk3 fiesta.

Ok, so the ST probably isn't the best it could have been straight from the factory, but there are definately quick and easy ways of upping the power to make it more fun.

I'm still trying to convince Alex to modify his, but he wont have any of it at the moment. He's had it 3 months now from brand new, already done about 4k miles and he loves it. He drives his to work every day and hasnt had any problems with it so far either, other than the radio wasnt working when he picked it up. Maybe ill get him to come over sometime and you can go out with him?

Are you looking to go for a brand new one or used? If you're looking to buy next year i reckon you could pick up a decent facelift one for a cheapish price. There's plenty around to choose from 2nd hand.

I think the ST is definately the way forward for you, but i think you should pick up a cheaper one and keep the si too

If i had the money i would get one... but i dont have the money :lol:

Why an ST? What others cars were you thinking of?

if you sell the car, you're gonna lose all the money you've spent on it. but if you keep it will you keep spending money on it?

declare it sorn, garage it and buy a new car! Then when you grow more attached to your new car, sell the old one!

Bearing in mind in a few years immaculate mk3's will be so rare it will be unreal! so possibly make more money on it in the future?

na id keep the si if i had spent that kind of cash on it, you no everything abot your car down to a T.plus if you did sell the si do you think that you get back what you have paid into it to make it what it is today.if you did get the st and then think you want more serious power from it, are you finacialy able to make it like you want it to be.although i have never had the pleasure to drive the st im sure that it would be alot better car to drive.
but at the end of the day it's up to you but i know what i would do.
