So seeing as there is a section for other makes on here....Here we have the thing that's been a royal pain for the last year

Parked up after picking it up from the ilse of skye with a blown headgasket (yes i drove it back :p) Total cost...£155 for the whole car





Fixed with some bodgey stuff (steel seal) worked for a few months before major HG fail


All fixed and some more happy miles put under the tyres until thr little garrett T25 went...so a cheap second hand one was fitted to bridge the gap

And then the bottom end let go....Oil starvation due to the balance shaft chain tensioner failing

Bigger project started


Rust free bits fitted



New interior sorted to replace the beige leather it came with

New one fitted with all ancillaries

as did all the aircon bits


Car painted and on the road (needs lowered badly

I didnt stop there

To replace the ageing Garrett I sourced a mitsubishi TD04-15t (standard aero turbo)



I Got a spare ecu and loaded the aero software onto it, I would have been happy at 225bhp (standard is 170) but the urge to take it a bit further was there, so I took it to stage 2 and promptly took it to a rolling road day

Plans next are to get the bilstein aero suspension fitted and a piggyback rear ARB mod. Power wise a 3" downpipe and a further remap will see it get to just shy of 300bhp at which point the injectors are close to their limit so will be looking for a set of 630cc/min ones.

Thank's guys it's actually been quite a tough road for it in the short year we've had it (my fiancee is also learning to drive in it)

It's still quite a sleeper and has taken a few 'faster' cars by surprise on the dual carrigeways :p

Woodsy: I was actually going to buy my mates 380bhp late aero (for them seats...serios SI recaro condenters) But I've started buying it in parts

I was planning on getting a FPT model thats come up for sale cheap (with cloth seats n all) for testing out various maps...But did a stage 2 map for a friend yesterday and he seems quite happy
