Going to look at a 1993 gen4 Prelude on Monday, it's a 2.3 with 166k on the clock, uk spec, I know it's not a Vtec, but I know there are some closet Jap fans lurking on here, so any advice would be helpful, cheers |

Ooo I was looking at 2.2 vtec preludes a while back before getting another gti-6. Supposed to be pretty sturdy steeds really. There's nothing major on that model that was common for failure IIRC! some of this may help you out a tad. http://www.preludeonline.co.uk/buyers-guide.html |

Had an F22Z2 in an Accord for good while. Had problems with lambda, dispack, and a Laguna in my grill. Otherwise, really impressed with it. Really torque despite the jap stigma, but I expect it had something to do with the capacity was big enough to warrant 4 cylinders  I really did love it, but having owned a 1600 Civic since, I've wondered whether the memories I'm recalling are being viewed through rose tinted glasses. First car syndrome. |

Here she is, After the Saab she feels tiny, soon get used to that, the dashboard looks awesome at night (well it does if you liked Knight rider), The missus absolutely hates it, so may be back up for sale soon, perhaps, Swapped this;  Lovely but restrained 9000 Saloon for; 1992 Prelude 2300 4ws, nice     And Squeeze;

Stickers are all gone, roof will be gloss black, got a new boot lid and now some arches to repair |
