Going to look at a 1993 gen4 Prelude on Monday, it's a 2.3 with 166k on the clock, uk spec, I know it's not a Vtec, but I know there are some closet Jap fans lurking on here, so any advice would be helpful, cheers

Ooo I was looking at 2.2 vtec preludes a while back before getting another gti-6.

Supposed to be pretty sturdy steeds really.

Had an F22Z2 in an Accord for good while.

Had problems with lambda, dispack, and a Laguna in my grill.
Otherwise, really impressed with it. Really torque despite the jap stigma, but I expect it had something to do with the capacity was big enough to warrant 4 cylinders

I really did love it, but having owned a 1600 Civic since, I've wondered whether the memories I'm recalling are being viewed through rose tinted glasses. First car syndrome.
