Right, i'm tempted to get a offroader. And as everyone knows nowadays offroaders don't go off the road because they are too blingy and weighed down by sat navs. So the best era to by from is the 1990's... as with all cars *cough* I've narrowed it down to 2 i like. Mitsubishi Pajero (Jap import; has bull bars) Toyota Hilux (I like the surf the best) |

Yeah i was thinking about a pajero. But then i was looking at the hilux and pajero going off road on youtube. And the hilux had to constantly pull the pajero out. |

the guy who live over the road from me is into his offroading big time, every weekend there is an army of 4x4s on the street, almost all of them are discoverys with the snorcle gear on and winching gear, theres around 6 discoverys 1 4 track regualy, there isnt much else turns up so the discovery must be a good offroader. 1 of em even has 1 of those suzuki s410 jeep thingys ![]() |

Lol that would be cool! Anyways.. realistic terms - The Japanese have always been good at 4wd vehicles as you may know. Land rover have also been good and very good at coping at rough terrain. However as an every day vehicle i think the Japs win as they are good on both on road and offroad, and look a tonne better than any land rover looks. I like the Hilux the best, as it is big, looks cool (Even has a cool name; surf), more comforable, reliable (3.0 is, 2.4 - bottom end blows after 100k) and just wins! xD http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1399835.htm |
