I wonder if you guys can help, Im in a dilema for a company car, I've narrowed it down from a list of over 1000 to 2 cars VW Golf 2.0TDI GT 140 3dr or Focus 1.8TDCI Titanium 3dr They're both similar on CO2 and MPG and I like the Focus styling and handling (through previous experiences) but looking at the brochures the Golf does look a very good car. I'm going to take a test drive in both but wonder if anybody has a view or oppinion. Thanks |

I was thinking Golf, I had a look at both at the weekend and the interior of the Golf is far superior over the Focus especially the Alcantara covered seats and steering wheel! Also the 236 Ft lb torque swayed things a bit, once ordered and delivered I'll post some pictures, but according to dealers there's a 3-6 month waiting list! |

yeah it is a VW trait, nice well made interiors The focus is the best ford interior, the ST i have feels very solid and well made

new golf actually uses the old focus chassis apparently both good cars but the vw engine is better |

I find from personal experience that the golf is better made and VAG diesels are solid good engines, if money is no issue golf FTW! plus less depreciation, so more of your money back afterwards

Lol your lucky, management at my place only get 1 choice - Audi A4 2.0 TDi... in black BOOOOOOOOORING! That's why all the managers apart from the c*cks, have said nah i'd rather keep the extra 4k a year and use my own car. |
