As much as i love my Si, my boyfriend has just purchased a Mark 1 Phase 2 Clio 1.8 16 Valver and i Fooooking love it!! ( and haven't even been for a drive)

Its off the road at the moment due to no tax, insurance and MOT...

We bought it from ebay for a stupidly cheap £250 because the bloke accidentally sold in the car parts section and made our way to Plymouth one evening to pick it up. Due to the lack of MOT some extrememly nice people from the valver forum met us in Plymouth from Bristol to tow the car back to Bournemouth...
Car needs the new doors fitted as the locks have been pushed in and other little things to get it ready...

But just generally the valvers are beautiful! 137 bhp standard and have so much you can do to them...

Thought id share my love for these things and see what you think of them...

the car you linked too is not too far from me, i remember popping up there with another mate to try and get his engine working.
its amazing, but the best this for me is the FG doors, cant even feel them in your hand when you close them they're so light

always liked them but i would never own 1, i like metal round me, i had a laguna once and didnt like how that folded up in an accident so would never own a small french car.
still a very nice looking car tho, and with 137bhp and a light car i bet its rather nippy
