haha yes im getting a sensible car.... unfortunatly still keeping fez lol Hopefully getting a golf mk4 very soon, well just need to find a decent one. Looking at this tomo: 1.8 T GTI, hopefully will be as clean as it looks in pics. quite in love with this at the mo     Views/opinions/comments? Any other ideas on what i could look at? |

very nice mate, infact we have just bought a mk 4 but just a 1.6, still very nippy tho. same kind of reason, mrs wanted a 5 door cus of having her nephews child seat in the back all the time!!!!  . . . . edit, look at our joined dates and times, how strange is that!!

they're nice and comfy for sure, and the build quality on these is alright apparently. A lot better than most anyway. from a sports point of view the 1.8t lump isn't the best in standard form, and standard handling is boat like + it isn't the best on fuel either, but you'll probably find it'll cost the same as your fiesta to run lol, however it's still nippy, very comfy if scott's gt-tdi mk4 he sometimes drives is anything to go by, and a lot of the ladies like them.  As long as you expect a comfy warm hatch that's a good allrounder, you will not be dissapointed. Some say they have no soul, hell even i used to, but you can't deny it's a decent car. |

Well the one in the pics was a complete pile of wank, scratches everywhere and the starter motor hanged in and dodgy touch up on bumper. Looked at another last nite too but had a small scuff/dent in rear arch. Other than that it drove nice, no knocks bangs rattles but cant really deal with completely poo bodywork. Il just keep on searching 4 the min. |

make sure you get one with a full service history because it things go wrong its not going to be cheap, the maf sensors have a habit of going and they are really expensive to replace

Very nice motor on fuel i'm averaging 29.2mpg frrom the same 1.8t 20v. mines nice and nippy too plus a quick trip to REVO, custom code or jabba sport will make it even better. don't know about the spec on GTi's though try looking out for A3's about the same car but agree on getting one with full sevice history. |

had one.....was lovely car.. black rearos inside koni adjustables lowered 30mm full system R32 replica style black multispoke alloys on it with chrome lip few mods and a dumpvalve...remap saw me at 223.4 BHP still dident feel that quick tho...deffo was nice in 3rd off the roundabouts |

Well, got one finally. GT TDI 115bhp, black 3dr heated seats climate control headlight washers abs traction control One or two very minor dings, but drives well, good on fuel and im happy with it. Interior in pretty minto condition, boot and seats look like theyve never been used. Not to slow for a diesel either. Will get a pics up soon. |
