What a sh*t name for a car

Seeing as water is 70% of the earths surface I think we should be ok for that, and hydrogen cars emit water out of the exhaust anyway.

As well as this, it is impossible to run out as the hydrogen and oxygen dont disappear as matter cant be created or destroyed, so it would never be an issue

Hydrogen is the best way forward, we are studying the new and upcoming methods of hydrogen storage in lectures atm, things are looking good

But Dave you surely know hydrogen is an energy carrier more than an energy source, to which it its fossil/nuclear/wind etc to get it into a state for it to be used.

But its the same for anything that a car would run on, it needs to be supplied with energy from an energy carrier.

When you run a car off electricity, where does the energy come from? The plug socket. And where does the electric from the plug socket come from? Fossil/nuclear/wind etc.

The best summary I saw was a programme James May did, in which he argued that if we went to electric cars as they are, we would be making a step backwards rather than advancing and moving forwards, as they have a lower range and take alot longer to "fill up", whereas hydrogen is just as good as what we have now

We should just grab a bit of the sun, split it into tiny fragments, and encase it in a solar panel cube - how's that for an infinite energy source!

Of course we could attempt to make a mini sun instead of burn to nothing by attempting it, but in my education of films and books, I suggest the world may be destroyed if we attempted to do such a thing, and the moon will possibly explode also, for extra effect.

Hydrogen is the best option, I can't imagine going on holiday with a car that can only go 100 miles before plugging it in. If that was the case and I was to drive to devon it would take a week lol.

These cars are only good for school runs and other menial tasks. But then what if your on a card metre at home, you'd be paying loads to charge the bugger up lol.

I will stand by th fact that the range will get further on electric cars.

I do stand by the point hyrdogen does make chemical sense in many respects, but the process of getting it defeats the point slightly and costs too much (accountant hat on)

I read quite a while ago that scientists were going to be attempting to make an artificial sun to get solar energy from.
Couldn't find the article when I looked for it again, wonder if it will ever happen.

Fusion is extremely experimental, and its hard to think of making a successful contained hydrogen fusion reaction, but i mean come on look at what we've achieved so far, just try and find the elements to stand up to the pressure!

Hydrogen is the most realistic and environmentally friendly but i suppose if you want to be kind to the environment then walk

electric cars might be saving the planet, there expesnive to buy but there only cheap to run for now, if everything switches to electric the government will find ways of taxing you the same way as they shag you up the shitter now. Plus why do they all look ugly except for the Tesla
