Well just went on Yarisclubuk.com and im chuffed to beans! theres some immaculate ones going for £2,500/£3,000 theres even a supercharged one pushing 150bhp! in a 800kg car thats nuts!
so will be breaking the bits off the rattler when the moneys saved up and then selling it as a standard car

What power do the Yaris' get up to with 'standard' mods (induction, exhaust etc)

I believe the are 108bhp standard with the VTS and twingo are 125bhp and 130bhp

What wrong with the VTS badge out of interest? (just pull it off and make it look like a 1.1) never heard anybody have a problem with it apart from when the word Saxo is included.

What kind of mileage does that money get you?

It doesn't effect insurance dude, the VTS is only group 8 (because its quicker mostly).

I would pick the Twingo - T Sport over the VTS Purely for looks.

Even when someones goes to the darkside percy you still persuade them to something else

What kind of rate are you saving at? how long do you think it will take to get 3K 4K etc, as things may change if its a longish time, 2 sometimes it worth saving a few more months to get a better example (lower mileage etc)

I wouldn't go down the loan route. Problem occur, things change, situations, I've done it, then been stuck with no job and a £500 maxed out overdraft a blown up car and being generally screwed. Although i've borrowed the money for the ZS from my grandad, your best bet is to earn the money and pay for it outright, that way theres no interest and no chance that suddenly everything changes and your screwed! lol

yep. As long as you know your alright and you'll be sticking with the job, ive done mine over 6 months, £300 a month, ended up doing £400 last month, £300 this month, now ive found a possible apprentaship with £500 left so im in a right pickle!

it might be quick but its a toyota... a car that will get boring very quickly and imo they have a old grannie/drivers that get in the wrong way all the time and hold you up kind of image, and it wont break down enough/ need work to make it fun lol, keep the fiesta mate it has charater and a soul

Seakin of grannies driving yaris's, i remember seeing an old woman driving in what must of 1st gear at about 20-30mph, that thing was screaming abit lol.

i dont think they quite have that image. the t-sports when modded look like a little quick jdm car. plus theres one on there that has a starlet engine pushing 250bhp
i know the fez has the character but im getting bored theres no real engine conversions i can do without being raped on insurance plus the constant worrys at mot's and shelling out for welding is starting to do my nut in.

well i think i would get more by breaking the parts of it i.e kit, wheels, Euro spec lights, suspension etc etc then clean up the car and sell the standard car with all standard bits
