I go for a turbo-charger setup as it's the bang bang-per-buck (which it is) and it suits my engine design... But then a bargain like this turns up:



Hmm Supercharged Turbo setup perhaps? :devil:

(does not sound much different to mine as standard, just pulls better.)

It does show how superchargers can be better at lower revs, but in a vtec whats the point.

That's it, as superchargers are crank driven and rob x amount of bhp to create xx amount of BHP, they tend to be quite limiting at higher revs, hence why the correct turbo can do a lot more than even the most suited of superchargers. Or so my mapper tells me.

Done correctly a supercharger and turbo work very well. I've seen a thread somewhere about a 2 litre Evo, with... Both a supercharger and turbo kicking out a completely lagless 1000hp.
