In many pictures there may be other things fitted to the car that
are no longer with it, what is is listed below but i may have missed
bits and bobs so just ask.

200+ pictures here including build up http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/ ... r/?start=0

The car is registered as a 1.8 16v LX, Registration L998 EVR
it has 5 previous owners and has been in my care for 5 years
in this time it has had everything replaced, some bits more than once.
the original surviving parts are: the drivers door, the basic shell and
the fuel tank. Its never been crashed or even seen track use, spent most
of its life tucked up in my garage and has done an average of about 2500
miles a year while I've had it. I'm selling due to a lack of interest,
time and losing my storage. I thought I would never sell this car after
the thousands of pounds and probably thousands of hours of labour its had.

It currently has no MOT, it expired a few months ago, however the shell is
solid, it was plated a few years ago mainly on the passenger side chassis
rail to a very high standard by a professional fabricator. All it would
require to pass an mot would be a drivers seat and seat belt and probably
a gearbox mount (which I'm sure i have in my spares).

The car has:

an RS2000 16v engine and gearbox (and wiring loom) installed, this is on
around 100k but can from a car with monsterous history (which i have)
and had had a top and bottom end rebuild within the last 30k, it pulls
well, starts first time and idles properly. It is fitted with an RS2000 4
branch manifold, genuine RS cat converter a custom centre section and a
Mongoose 4" out rolled RS turbo rear box -sounds fanstatic

The gearbox is sound and the drive shafts were fully rebuilt using genuine
boots and spiders (over £100s parts) last year. The car also had new front
and rear wheel barings fitted within the last two years.

The braking system is top notch, ST220 front calipers, drilled and grooved
front st170 discs, custom goodridge braided green hoses, XR3i 130 spec
mastercylinder and servo (MC was brand new ~£100) 90% kunifer brake lines
within the last few years, RS2000 rear drilled and grooved discs. Genuine
ford pads front and rear. It also has an ODDKIDD brake servo support fitted

The suspension, the car currently rolls on standard front and rear dampers
and springs, but was fitted with coilovers. The car has every powerflex
polybush made for the escort fitted. The front wishbones are Ian Howell
AREA SiX camber adjustable arms fitted with powerflex bushes (to my spec)
It is also fitted with the bigger RS2000 front and rear roll bars. Also included
is an E-Tech alloy adjustable front strut brace.

The body work is: RS accessory high spec front bumper, RS accessory hatch
rear bumper. (both Genuine ford and made of ABS plastic) ABS platic RGM M3
skirts. Custom Cyclone extra wide arches and an Escort Cosworth replica
lower spoiler. It also sports a mk5a front end conversion with Cosworth
long range lamps and sidelights, clear RS2000 front indicators, Clear Focus
RS side repeaters (genuine RS accessory fogs - not currently fitted, wiring
is all there and mounts)A smooth cosworth style grill. Finally a very thick
fibreglass direct fit cosworth style front splitter. The paint work isn't
concours, 95% of it could be brought up to scratch by a detailist.
The car doesn't look shabby after a wash and polish. there is a small dent
in the bonnet from the engine. though an RS2000 bulge bonnet comes with the
car. There are also one or two small dents here and there nothing noteworthy
though. The paint work is cracked along the base of the spoiler two.
Basically for a track car the bodyworks fine, but for show it would need the
paintwork looking at (and then sorting) (it also has a storm single wiper)

The interior is bare. the dash, headunit dials and an after market steering
wheel are all there, but no seats and no trim. I do have a lot of trim in
bags, but no seats. I do have all the seat belts and there hardware with the
car. It is fitted with retrimmed front door cards and alpine front speakers
The car does not come with wheels but i can include a set of Focus MP3
17" wheels with good tyres for £250 or the 16" compomotives for £450.

The Car is located in North East Lincolnshire DN18 postcode area. I can
arrange delivery at very good rates via a fully insured carrier. The car
will come with all the escort spares I have, including a gearbox and lots of
small parts / spares. The car needs to be viewed and paid for before I arrange
delivery. Just add some better suspension and you away with a cheap track car.
I know it would break for more but I really would rather just sell it.
