sorry to jump right in the deep end with my first post being a for sale one, but bare with me as im trying to save or at least make sure the good bits from this SI goes to the right people!
I have a 1994 5 door SI 1.6i in green that i need to get rid of. Its a bit sorry for itself, but my other half has fond memories of her Mums SI that she had convinced me to try and do some good with it.
Basically there was a bit of a mistake and this car should now be part of the government scrappage scheme, but do to admin error, it escaped!
Its done about 94000 miles and until the mot ran out in Feb this year it was in constant use.
The good news is the front seats are in pretty good order, as is most of the interior. The engine and gearbox seen fine too. Its got a bunch of old receipts and original book pack, orginal radio with code stashed in the book.
It does how ever have its faults, these are the known ones:
Locks are bust. the only way to unlock the car is too unlock the boot and climb in to undo the rear door, then you can undo the front door to get in.
Rust: patches over alot of the car sadly.
Front bumper has some damage.
No MOT or TAX
Now i dont know what its worth, but i know some sites require a price, so lets say £300 to start. i have NO idea whats it worth and really we just need rid of it, the scrap man is due round soon so he may take it as scrap. Cars located in Kent
On a side note anyone know if these seats fit into a 3 door zetec s? be a shame to let such supportive seats go to the scrapper!
