As above i'm just looking for a bit of advice on how to go about selling a cat c write-off, the car in question is a 1992 (K reg) Toyota MR2 G-Limited 2ltr. Its a Jap import and was in very good condition until some tossbag went into the side of it. Now i'm gonna be as honest as I can here because well whats the point in lying here.

The car was running fine but had a leak from the coolant somewhere, my dad was going to get it fixed but since the accident he can't be bothered with it anymore. It still runs fine and other than that as i say it was in very good condition.

Now onto the damage, the car has been deemed Cat C, uneconomical to repair, however the damage itself is pretty minimal. the guy hit me at an angle on the drivers side causing the corner panel to buckle in and the arch to flare out slightly. as it has the old-skool pop up lights the damage has also meant that the light has got stuck halfway up (the mechanism still works, as does the light but it went up then the buckle pushed in and when it tried to go back down it got stuck)

look here for a couple of pictures but can get more if needed viewtopic.php?f=92&t=21146

anyway, do i need to advertise any where special (or if anyone is interested that would be awesome)

There is no problem selling at Cat C as long as you are honest about it and don't try to hide it.
