Hi guys and girls. im not expecting to generate much interest in this here, but its worth a shot, tis on piston heads at the moment. if it doesnt shift i wont lower the price much before it just goes to the cave and gets broken for bits. as im pretty sure i can make 1500 quid in parts and weigh the rest in. there are 4 faults..2 of which are not small, but not insurmountable given a bit of time and cash. frankly i have enough projects on the go without this turning into another. scroll down for a description, once fixed and given a proper detail youll have no problem poking it up for 3 grand. which shoud stand you a good £500 in profit as these are quite hard to find, insurance is group 18, driven in a sensible fashion i get around 23mpg. 30 on a steady run at 70mph with the cruise on.

1st Transfer box noisy/ intermittent transmission of power to rear. The car still drives and performs as it should albeit in front wheel drive. A used parts search turned up a couple of used units for around 125 pounds, with 3 months warranty. its not a gearbox out job as far as i believe.
2nd Prop-shaft centre bearing, the prop-shaft is currently not fitted to the car. As the noises coming from the transfer box as the rear diff was driving it were rather off putting. A new bearing is supplied. Specialist fitment required as it wont split to fit it. This was quoted at approximately 350 pounds. For a centre joint replacement and balance. So this problem wont happen again as it will be retained differently.
3rd Front wishbones. Pretty much after the transfer box gave up the extra driving loads on the front finished the bushes off. It has a slight weave under hard braking. Last time I checked they were about 150 pounds for a pair.
4th which is purely cosmetic and an irritation. Being a Phase one car the suede part on top of the steering wheel has peeled and looks quite bad. I hadn't decided what I was going to do with regards to a standard replacement or an aftermarket one
The car has covered 156, 500 miles, the inside is finished in cream leather/ suede with the walnut effect inserts, with all the usual R goodies, the 7 seat conversion was done before I bought the car. The car is also fitted with a genuine removable towbar and wired up with N and S sockets. The car is as stated fitted with a manual gearbox, all gears select smoothly. All 4 tyres were replaced in march, (Goodyear Eagle F1's) all still have plenty of tread left. K&N panel filter fitted in the standard air box and a power flow rear exhaust section are also fitted giving it a delightful 5 pot bark. The car also had a cam belt and idlers in April I believe. I need to check that, but it was definitely in the last 9 months, the car starts on the button. No smokes rattles or leaks, The only piece of electrical equipment that doesn't work is the external temp sensor. And the air con could do with a re gas as its not that cold. I intended to do it over the summer and I didn't get a chance. The car is tested until the end of next September road tax expires the end of February. You could just fit the wishbones and leave it as a front drive car if you wished. The only reason its for sale is I have nowhere to keep it while I sort the bits and bobs out. My loss is someone else's gain in this case. For someone with some drive space and a bit of work, it will be a cheap car for somebody. Further information/pictures can be given on request.
