Right then. Its time to start planning the next infamous north meet

I Think the best time for the next meet would be the end of August as that is far enough away from ford fair but still not too far into the future for those who will not be attending ford fair. I have set up a poll of the last two Sundays in August and the first Sunday of September to keep options open, so if you vote which is best for you and we'll see what happens from there.

I think the pictures from the previous meets show what a success these are becoming and how much fun we all have so come along and join in, you know you want to!

The time will be 12.30pm as last time which gives everyone enough time to get there.

The venue will be the same again, which is a pub carpark in the peak district just near Hathersage, as this has worked really well in the past and has good views for pics and lovely driving roads to get to it! The food is also really good as tested at the last meet, with the only problem being too much food to finish!

Don't worry dude you haven't offended me in any way, I was just concerned you had a few misconceptions to which I would be happy to help you clear them.

As it is we did do a few passenger rides at one of the other northern meets as it was good fun and I am up for it again.

ps if you can make all 3 dates then just tick all 3 options, its gives us a better idea of numbers.

can i have a passenger ride in it? would be could to see what improvements where made over the saxo vts, i have drove a c2 diesel (i think it was a 1.5?) and it wasnt bad for what it is but wasnt so keen on the arrangement inside, maybe because iv been driving to many old cars because i found the dash strentches quite far out like my van lol, but if it drives good im sure it will make up for its cosmetics lol.

Must have been the 1.4 diesel I am guessing as there is a Diesel VTS. If you have experience of the Saxo VTS you will notice quite a difference, Overall it have got heavier and slower (but it does go from a 2 to 4 star on safety so I will forgive it). The best way I can describe it is not as raw but a lot more defined in terms of handling.

As said if there is a couple more cars up for it there is a few good roads where it is safe enough to give it some.

I wont get to go fast enough to have an accident, i should imagine it would be a good convoy though if loads turn up as iv seen on the pics.
