i know i always rant and rave about Rallycross and post lots of pictures up but if the below goes ahead next year its gotta be a defo watch

European event set for Easter

The Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship has given up its traditional Easter Monday date at Lydden Hill as the circuit's management and the BRDA work towards returning the European Rallycross Championship to Great Britain. Once the mainstay of the season at Lydden, the European championship has not appeared in Britain since 1998 and last took place at Lydden in 1996. The event has been listed as round one on the draft calendar, taking place on April 11-13, which will be ratified by the FIA on November 5.

had an email today to confirm that the event will be on next year at Easter (12th>13th April) at Lydden Hill

defo gotta be worth a visit especially if you have never been before

It is estimated that over 30% of the 30,000 spectators expected will travel from all over Europe to attend the opening round at Rallycross’ original Birthplace which will be held on April Bank Holiday weekend (12th & 13th). The Easter Bank Holiday weekend has traditionally been host to the British Rallycross Championship, but due to the ERC the British Championship has now been pushed back to May 25th 2009.
