i was gonna run up the strip but one of my parts never turned up so dont think ill bother

just fort there would be more intrest one of the best ford show of the year and it seems no one here knows wat it is :s

most people on here have payed for FITP and planned ford fair, and our sixfields meets

i would love to go to more events, but im stuck working weekends over summer most of the time

im guessing this was the reason that four sapphire cosworths, 2 erst's and countless ecos's caned it past me and my dad today (in a little astra 1.7td :lol:

) and, although we tried keeping up, no chance

i was on the a43? or m40 i dont remember, but the sound :look:

great day!

the mk1 cortina on throttle bodies or carbs, beating an rx-7 on the 1/4 mile was immense!

there were a few casulties though.....

namely an evo VII and a sapphire cosworth (the sapphire done a propshaft, saw it being towed home!)

And an escort cosworth threw a rear driveshaft out halfway along the strip, and didn't noticed and carried on! :lol:
