we should call the reports page "op's" blog. seeing as only i post in it.
heres what i did yesterday:
went outside with the girls to find a sh1tty proton that top gear had crashed. inside was two manikins of dead people with runny blood and stuff, got told by a paramedic and fireman all about crashes and stuff and how injuries occur, appaently in one crash there are 4 collisions -
the impact.
head versus steering wheel.
guts and innards versus your chest wall.
back/ass/head versus seat.
then we wathced some vids on crashes, showed a mk2 fez, never want to crash in one of them!
a new beetle looks quite good and solid.
then we went to the firestation where i got volunteered to dress up a a paramedic and join in with the firemen and real paramedic guy as they train for real life crashes with me and my mate nick dictating to the fire rew how we would want to get the guy out safely without causing him more injury. (clueless)

using a mk3 astra and a cinkycento we set a real person (a fireman) free from the wreckage as if it was real life and in real time, jaws of life, spinal board, engine fluids dripping, breaking glass.
we got to the "scene" and turned off the ignition then the firemen come in and do some stuff.
i went in through the boot to put oxygen on the dude and stablise his head while the fireman cut away the sides of the car.
then some girls had a go with the fiat.
big tools.
safe and sound but slightly fcuked.
all in all a good fun day at uni.
