I see everyone asks about how they can get a "copy" of PhotoShop, yet nobody is prepared to pay for it (as it's really expensive to be fair)

So I'm here to plug GIMP - "GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring"

Give it a blast. It's legit, totally free and always updated. Hopefully this will get more people into photo editing without any expense!

I have used it in the past and it is quite good.

Not quite photoshop but not far off.

I'll give it a go, cheers for the link mate. been a while since i used photoshop (think it was the "cs" edition) back then, but if this aint far off should be good

I started using Photoshop Elements on a trial, but it can't do half the stuff gimp can for free, and that is around £60!

Photoshop CS is much nicer than GIMP, but it comes with the price tag (£600+).
