Got my Si lowered at the weekend also got some new brakes fitted (early Christmas present from my girlfriend) so thought I would post some pictures. Not had a chance to give the handling a good try as still bedding in the brakes and one of the drop links for the Anti-roll bar has given up (see another post in technical problems) All comments welcomed. That's one of the best looking standard(ish) Si's I've seen for a very long time! Very tidy! If I was you I'd get the mirrors sprayed body colour, but leave the baseplates black (and get some dressing on them to darken and tidy them), and something on the front to lower the look of the front end a bit 
And although the standard wheels look very tidy aswell, I think it would benefit from some uber sexy wheels. Nothing mental or max power, just "nice"

Cheers guys for the comments, am going to stick with the RS1800 alloys, quite like them!!! Plan is to get a laguna splitter for the front to bring it down a bit, where is it best to get one from? Have thought about spraying the mirrors, how would you get the paint to bond, and would I have to rub them smooth? I've seen plastic mirrors and bumpers sprayed before but the paint picks off after being out in the weather. Thanks |
