pics of the RS2000
its bein stripped tomorow for the head gasket change, the heads goin away to be skimmed in the week. already got oil, oil filter and antifreeze today. hopefully we will get this one done quicker than my si.

HEY! finally got the head off tonite. whoop whoop!! takin in to work tomorow to steam clean it then drop it off to the garage where HeadFirst will collect it and have the head skimmed and pressure tested! game on. its possible that the head gasket is the original from new as u can see from the pics its taken its toll. it crumbled as we removed it from the block. theres lots of cleanin to do to the block n the crowns of the pistons. among removin the head tonite i got busy paintin my rocker cover black as i think it looks tosh left standard. i also painted the mesh that is housed in the front of the bumper black as it was lookin rather chavvy in silver, it now looks the nuts. heres pics of progress on "Project Peanuts".

nah its excitin second time round lol. im not a mechanic so i learn from my mate n this time round ive got the jist of it. its all gud, feels like i got loads dun tonite, cant wait to get the parts n put it bk 2geva n drive the feckin thing. got me sum 16inch mondy 5 spokes lined up too, so they'll go on before i hit the road again. |

small update: went to look at sum mondy wheels yesterday (sunday) and bought them. theyre in average condition, a few scrapes here n there but nothin major. picked these up off banditbaron for £50. jus gota get sum tyres but they can wait. 
also, my inlet, exhaust and cylinder head gaskets came today. delivered to my work fresh from ford. the cyl head bolts came too. jus waitin on rocker cover gasket now. 
im really missin not havin a car, i think im beginnin to p1ss my dad off askin for lifts here n there lol, but hopefully it shud be done by the end of the week.
the block has been cleaned up and sanded with emery cloth, no pics of that yet. but keep watchin.
