after crashing my fez into a brick wall my parents lent me some money and i decided a change in cars for a while, was looking around for bigger cars like vectras and mondeos, but didnt really want a big car yet, so this came up, and had to buy it, tis really nice, well, nicer than the fez (colour wise).

its a 306 XSi 2.0, its nippier than the fez , and is a really nice drive, so here are the pics






will get better pics when ive done a few bits to it, 1st thing on the list is a little services, then looking for a laguna splitter, then maybe refurb these alloys like i did with my fezzy ones in graphite grey.

i washed it again and fitted some new side repeaters today and some filler cap badges, looking all nice and shiney again DD so heres the pics, hope you like





all i need to get now is:

black projector/halo headlights
phase 2 rear lights
finish off the smooth grille
get it lowered
and either refurb current alloys or buy 17" Lenso RS5 in black

i also had an idea of fitting some escort cossie wheels to it, but i doubt it will work i dont think it looks too bad, but if i was to fit some i would be refurbing them and getting rid of the ford sign on the center cap, and spraying them graphite grey.

i do like these cars i have concidered getting 306 not 2.0 for insurance reasons but 306 something, like the look of em, dont know there reliability, but trying to find a good 1.6 si is hard so been lookin at these as back ups, yours is good mate, best colour aswel

was looking at a Gti 6, but coudnt afford the insurance so the XSi was next best, so got it, might go ahead in a few yrs, and fit a GTi 6 engine, but thats a long way off, you can get the halos off ebay for about £140 posted, so im guna do that, might be picking some ph2 rear lights tomorrow, then gota get the wire adaptors for them to work then, need to get the scratches sorted out on it soon, oh and get a radiator as its got a slow leak but other than that it runs sweet

You thought about just painting your headlights and keeping your rears to match them and the retro'ness of a PH1? Could spend the money on an exhaust or something then!

I also dont think the halo's look quite right! I managed to track down a set of black cibie/valeo headlights for my GF's ph3

was guna say, you following me around or sumat i was thinking bout painting the inside of the standard lights, but i like the halos as it gives it like a stealth look at the front, and even moreso when ive finished doing my smooth grille, and with the ph2 rear lights they lok more modern and fresher if you know what i mean

well just been to pick my new rear lights up just need to get some adaptors now to make them work,

oh, and it looks like ive got a slight oil leak :'( and a leak in my radiator, so if anyone knows where i can get a cheap new radiator from, please tell me asap

well i cleaned the XSi today, and though i shall take come nice scenic pics of it all cleaned

this is on the way up to the cat and fiddle pub going towards buxton

get some swirl remover, would look spot on then, id love a black car as you can get souch a great finish with them!

yea thats what im going to do when it a nice day and ive got a full day to clean the car, wana get the paintwork all spot on, but theres the odd dent which is scratched oh well, will get it sorted in the future
