Makes a bloody racket on start up, and then in the powerband about 3-5000rpm, it kicks in with the rasp . Only problem I had fitting was the breather hose. The tube they gave to connect the breather to the filter, was the same diameter as the outside of the breather pipe, so the tube wouldn't fit in. But the breather pipe fits in the filter anyway nice and tight, so Im not too worried.
Now I gotta figure out what to do with the 2 tonnes of plastic left over

sweeeeeet. you noticed any difference in throttle or anything? personally i noticed sweet FA on my Si just makes a touch more noise. you can notice the addition of the filter on the 2i though.

looks very sexy though. i think i might get a hoooj filter on the Si when its back. and something bizarre going on with the intake

looks very nice... my mate brought one from FITP for his mk4 aswell and had the same problem with the pipe... got it sorted tho and it sounds beautiful!

Rob, what did he do matey? I'd sooner have it hooked up properly, Im assuming just stretch the breather hose, but it's that damn tight.

No real performance difference, only that I feel the need to stomp on the pedal in every gear just to hear it "wharrrrrp" through the revs But it does feel smoother on the throttle, tends to idle at 1000 rpm now where it should be, instead of about 800/900.

On a lighter note, seriously how much piping was in there, it took about 20 mins to lever it all out. 10ft of plastic, and about 6" to manouver it out

Make a lovely reflection on the road, and they weren't that expensive, ?449 for 15"s balanced, delivered, and with 195/45/R15 directional Uniroyal tyres (Which have the little edge to stop you kerbing your rims supposedly) Best bit was, I only ordered em at 11am yesterday, and they arrived at 4pm today, bonus.
Im well chuffed, just need to double check all the torque settings tomorrow.
