Been on here a bit recently, so thought I'd post some pics.

This incident with a skip prompted the smooth boot:


Currently it's a 1.6 16v, but I'll soon be recieving a 2.0 from Moe. Now has a smooth boot, 2x12" Fli Active subs, Vibe front components, Sony 2-way speakers in rear, Sony headunit with USB, MP3, etc air horns and 15" RS2000 alloys. It needs attention to the passenger's side (I'll get a new door and wing and then get the rear quarter changed) and driver's sill. Other parts I already have are a rear interior light, -35mm Spax VSX kit, Mk4 rear bumper, RS2000 bumper spats, bonnet with RS2000 bulges, drilled and grooved discs and a TVR Tuscan back-box. Other mods planned are RS2000 skirts, Focus inlet, cat-back system, sports cat (to replace hollowed out one!), Zetec-S rear beam, 4-channel amp for speakers and plenty of MDF for the boot.

Right now though I'm waiting for it to be picked up for accident damage to be repaired on the driver's rear quarter. I'll probably update when that's done.

Good stuff, should tidy it up a bit when you do all you want to it.

Also, was that Synths Adagio For Strings on your stereo? Fcukin love that song!

Des - Yep, it's Adagio For Strings. Got a few versions though so can't say which one it was.

Matty - I got the shuffle for £35 on a manager's special in Argos. Bargain! And the place where it's going to be fixed said they clean everything before giving it back, so I'll try and get some pics then when it's all spangly.

Op - It did have the smoothed boot, just not too noticeable as it normally looks like this:

Defo wouldn't mind coming down to Sixfields, even if I haven't got the Si back. Where's the details?

By the way, you'll love my courtesy car. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Is it the diesel zetec S? Both are ment to be quite good! The mk6 doesn't do anything for me!

It's petrol, and it is good. The only thing I really prefer is the gear change over the Mk3. Handling is surprisingly good considering the height of the thing and acceleration is a bit quicker than my tired Si. It's clever too, with the stereo volume changing with speed and the Miles to go/MPG readout on the dash.

I like it, but I still want my baby back.
