Right all thought i would do a bit of a story thread on my car. I brought the car of my mate lookin the way it does at the mo, but since ownin the car i have had a few probs which i have now sorted and tided the car up a bit The first prob i found was that the temp seemed to get a bit hot, so i asked my mate and he said its always been like that. But i wasnt happy with it so i drained the system out because it only had dirty water in there. So i flushed it through with a hose and then added a 30% mixture of summer coolant with the water. The temp gauge now sits just below the O and the fan kicks in when it hits the O. Before the fan would kick in just before the red orsome times just after the needle has crawled in the red.. I then went out bout tiding up the blacked out windows, it was a good job before but id rather it be done properl then have it half done. Heres a pic of the outside of the windows (btw ignore the black spots got a dodgey camera lol) http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3563.jpg And heres a pic from the inside http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3564.jpg I then went about changing the air fitler to a piperx cone, i dont know if it will make much diffrence but it does give a better sucking sound lol http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3565.jpg Then went about giving the car a bit of a clean and playing with diffrent camera shots and angles. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3566.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3567.jpg Also added a volt meter lol http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/3568.jpg Sorry about the size of the pics dnt no how to resize them sorry.. So what do peple thik so far. |

Just a quick update, put an internal fan switch in, because when im driving through slow traffic it heats up dead fast so this is a good way to control it.. I have also removed the passenger headlight and put the airfilter there instead. I know this is not legal but it looks quite good and performs a bit better.. |

any pics of filter setup, sounds a bit dodgy to be honest. I take it you don't drive it in the dark then? ![]() |
