ha, cheers for comments. yeah it's a late 1.1 model with fuel injection. I thought that pic would spark sum speculation!! I was as surprised as u lot wen it reached tht speed, but if u find a road long enough with a slight downward gradient (like the private road i was on) it will reach it. As for the revs, tht too was a surprise coz my mates 1.7 puma is at about 5,000 wen doing 100mph. |

na seriously, it can be done going slightly down hill. on a flat road i can prob do bout 80, uphill i mite aswel get out and push! Wot would be reasonable evidence for u to believe? I could make a video and post a link. Or if your anywhere near watford we could arrange something. |

1.1s never came with sets of 140mph +rev counter clocks, iirc they are all 120mph clocks did you fit the clocks in after you got it? diesel box? |

yeah the lx's came with rev counter n 140 speedo. It also has 185 width steel wheels. Wow, you mite think, wot a car, its got all the extras and its got a rear wash wipe!! LOL. It is a fun car to drive tho, especially in the rain with the sh*t tyres I have on the rear! The other plus point about having a crap car is going down a narrow country lane with a bmw or merc coming the other way, guess who gives way! In response to andyleesy, it wasn't actually tht noisey, apart frm the road noise, but the engine was alrite. I've done the tappets on it and other bits, but as the photo shows its only done 73k miles and is in very good condition. Only the rust around the fuel filler cap tht lets it down. Wat 0-60 times and top speed have people done in thier 1.6 si as i'm thinking of getting 1 soon? |

iv got about 9.5 secs on my 1.6 si but that was with a mate with a stop watch so prob a couple of milly secs out, there meant to do it in routhly 10 secs and top speed of 115 but everyone says there go faster than that. theres a debate about 0-60 times in the general section http://www.fiesta-si.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7107, but its more a french vs ford war with 0-60 times on the side lol dont ask why lol |
